Our New Years resolutions are going good as well. We have a goal to read the Book of Mormon together, exercise more together, be better at budgets, and we want to vacation more. We basically have our whole year of vacations planned out and I cannot wait!! The key of this year is to do a lot of things together, grow more as a couple!
Bob is doing good, he recently got a new job at Varian Medical Systems here is Salt Lake. We have been trying to get on with them for a year now. They just have a long application process and they never felt that Bob was the right fit. Out of nowhere a couple weeks ago they called him and told him they reopened his application and resume and that they wanted an interview. The rest is history, he got the job and starts February 9th!! We are both so happy!!! It's a great company with great benefits and pay. He was supposed to start his HVAC program this week but with his new job he is now going to go to school for machining! He is really excited to already have a job to gain experience with school. I am so proud of him and all he is accomplished thus far. He is also loving his calling and working with the scouts. Every Tuesday he comes home and talks non stop about what they learned and how he felt. I love to watch him serve our Heavenly Father. He is such a worthy priesthood holder and I got so lucky with him.
Things on my end are super good as well. Work is going good, I am loving being a dispatcher in the courier department. Working nights sometimes gets the best of me and some nights I hate leaving Bob but for the most part I enjoy it. I have gotten used to the 7 on 7 off thing, I love the time off and the fact that I only two weeks out of the month. It makes time go by so fast so that's good. Young women's is going great, I love working with the youth!! I learn so much from them and this calling is different than anything I have had so I like that. Having a calling is so good, I never feel the spirit more than when I have a calling. The few months after we got married I didn't have one and I just felt like a part of me was missing. Now that void is filled and now I can serve my Heavenly Father more easily. I still haven't started school yet and I hate that. I missed the deadline for the application and now I need to wait, I get so mad thinking about this and how I procrastinated. I am going to apply sooner and get my butt in gear so I can something more with my life. Working for IHC is great but it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life. Hopefully I can get going on school soon while I still have the time and motivation. That's about it for now, thanks for keeping up with the Kanes!
