Bob and Heather first met one Sunday while Heather was taking ward pictures. Bob was getting his picture taken and Heather had to get his phone number. (She had to get everyone's phone number) Bob said to her "You aren't even going to ask me on a date first" They laughed and went on their way. Then one Saturday, of presidents day weekend to be exact, they were both cleaning the church. Heather had asked Bob if he knew about an activity that was happening later that night. He said he didn't know anything about it so they switched numbers so Heather could give him the details. The day went on and Heather had other obligations so she didn't even go to the event. Later that night she received a text from Bob asking why she didn't go. He also told her she was missed. That made her heart skip a beat. Cutest thing anyone ever said to her. They text for awhile and then He called her to hang out that same night. Heather was already busy but made plans with him after she was done. They went to his house to watch a movie and just hang out. They actually hung out everyday after that. Heather liked him a lot, He liked her a lot. This went on for a week or two, then came time for the talk. The talk to decide where this was going. Heather had plans to go to Nursing school, which most likely meant leaving St George. Bob had a job and school in St George was he just suppose to follow her? Heather honestly went into that talk with the intent of calling it off. When the time came to say it, she couldn't. It made her sick and that's not right. She really liked him and there was something there. So they continued it. They dated February-June 2013 and both felt that they needed a break. Things just weren't going right. Heather has never been more sad and Bob was very lonely. Both felt empty but both knew it had to be that way. August came and they both wanted to talk. The talk felt good, both of them felt that the other had changed. Changed for the better. They decided to take it slow, real slow. It worked. Since that day in August Heather knew he was the one for her. They got engaged in December and then married in April and have been more happy then they ever imagined! The moral of this love story?
